private psychedelic retreats
Personal psychedelic-assisted psilocybin immersions in nature guided by expert facilitators within an integrative programme
“Psychedelics will be to psychiatry what the microscope is to biology and the telescope is to astronomy.”
— Stanislav Grof
Our psychedelic-assisted psilocybin retreats are rooted in human-soul ecology with the deepest intention to ignite self-healing, nature-awe and interconnectivity.
Whether there is a yearning inside you for more than what has been ‘prescribed’, a curiosity edging you closer to the mystery, patterns and layers mulching your authenticity, or whether you simply long to expand your perceptivity and creativity, you have arrived. Welcome.
co-create your ideal encounter with psilocybin
Explore altered states of consciousness for your personal healing and growth with personalised support, set, setting and source. Through a thorough preparation process, we discuss your intentions, desires, fears and needs to co-create the optimal encounter with the powerful science backed fungi-teacher, psilocybin. Be supported with psychedelic expertise and experienced facilitation, in an appropriate nature-immersive setting, with followup psychedelic integration. Our private retreats are built upon four pillars:
Support - embrace a fully supported experience, from preparation to immersion to integration
Set - cultivate a calm and capable mindset to explore entheogenic landscapes
Setting - enjoy beautiful surroundings, wilderness and privacy amongst countries where psilocybin is permitted
Source - trust in ethically sourced medicine and nourishment
why psilocybin?
everyone’s medicine…
Psilocybin exists all over the world, making this medicine an embedded thread within our collective ancestral lineages. It is known to be one of the safest psychedelics and has been scientifically proven to support long-term neurogenesis, which is the formation of new neuronal cells in the brain. Controlled studies have revealed that Psilocybin can treat an array of psychological issues, increase creativity, and deepen our nature connectedness, which is ultimately our relationship with life.
Where modern medicine is designed to manage symptoms, psilocybin digs deep into the root causes and provides an expansion of consciousness that helps you remould where you place your attention. It is a process of unlearning unhealthy conditioning and patterning, whilst awakening neural pathways associated with interconnectivity, broader perspective and child-like wonder.
Our guest speaker and facilitator, Dr Sam Gandy, has also recently found in his scientific research that psilocybin cultivates and deepens nature-connectedness more so than other psychedelic medicines (including Ayahuasca and LSD). Psilocybin is one of the most ethical choices of enthepgens, as it grows abundantly all over the world, whereas medicines like Bufo, Ayahuasca and Peyote are endangered and at risk of being acculturated from their indigenous-guarded sources. We see Psilocybin as Earth Medicine - showing us how to interrelate with compassion and curiosity, whilst tapping into the more-than-human psyche. You can learn more in our resource hut.

Veronica Stanwell
founder, ceremonialist, eco-transpersonal psychology coach
As a multidisciplinary healing and creative arts practitioner, Veronica weaves somatics, eco-philosophy, ceremony and song into intimate explorations for connection, healing and transformative growth. An MSc studentship in Consciousness + Transpersonal Psychology with the Alef Trust, alongside her work with Rooted Healing (as founder + director), are driven by a fascination with the fabric of life and the essence of belonging. Extensive time amongst indigenous healing traditions of Latin America alongside a deep enquiry into Mother Europe’s native ways guides Veronica’s work, whilst her background in professional theatre still helps her carry reverence for the power of story, music, expression, catharsis and playfulness. A childhood immersed in wild Welsh lands gave Veronica a viscerally intimate connection with nature and folkloric culture, which informs her approach to guiding integrative healing and awakening.

This will vary greatly based on your personal requests and whether you are booking for yourself or for a group. As a minimum, we consider the 4+ 1:1 sessions, logistical planning, immersion accommodation and food, facilitator(s)’s time and the value in our preparation and integration materials. Therefore, personalised programmes will always cost more than joining our group retreats ‘Earth Medicine’.
-
Our retreats are for people with stable mental and physical health. We do not offer clinical-therapeutic or medical treatment. Our personalised retreats are for those who do not feel ready or at ease with group work, or for couples and small groups who would prefer more intimate support. We deeply encourage joining our gatherings, as there is profound healing through communitas (the sense of sharing and intimacy that develops among persons who experience liminality as a group). We are always open to arranging a call to discuss your options and in some minor cases, we can accommodate certain conditions and situations if the team feels this is the right route for you.
-
We do not advocate rushing this process, so please consider approaching us with at least 2 months before your desired programme start. We run regular gatherings and courses so we may require more time to fit your programme into our team’s schedule. You can review our gatherings for an idea of our busier months.
